Throughout his career, Todd has advised clients on business development, funding proposals, operations, marketing, and growth initiatives, with a strong focus on real estate development and consulting. Whether he’s mentoring emerging entrepreneurs, evaluating investment opportunities, or helping established companies expand, Todd is known for delivering practical solutions backed by experience and measurable results.
Todd earned a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with a business concentration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional, holds certification in Technology Commercialization from the University of Houston, and is certified in the Growth Wheel methodology. His work and expertise have been recognized nationally through the Association of Small Business Development Centers, reflecting a career dedicated to helping businesses grow with purpose and confidence.

After eight seasons in the NFL, Todd didn’t simply retire, he redirected the same discipline, focus, and commitment that fueled his athletic career into building businesses and creating wealth through real estate investment.
What began with a handful of single-family properties grew into a thriving real estate portfolio and a deeper understanding of how strategic investments can create long-term financial opportunity. Along the way, Todd developed a reputation for identifying potential, evaluating risk, and helping others make informed decisions that support their personal and business goals.
Today, that experience serves as the foundation of Great Scott Enterprises. By combining hands-on investment experience with practical business guidance, Todd helps entrepreneurs, investors, and business owners build sustainable growth, create new opportunities, and position themselves for long-term success.
Todd is on a mission to help former, active, and transitioning athletes navigate one of the most important chapters of their lives: building financial independence beyond their playing careers. Through real estate investment and business ownership, he helps athletes understand how to leverage their resources, create passive income opportunities, and build generational wealth.
A Galveston native and former All-Pro safety, Todd credits both his on-field mentors and off-field influences, including Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell and his father, Charles Scott, for instilling the values of faith, education, discipline, and service that continue to guide his work today. He is also deeply grateful to Apostle Charles E. Perry for the personal and professional guidance that has helped shape his leadership journey, and to Coach Tony Dungy for modeling and teaching the principles of living an uncommon life rooted in character, purpose, and faith.
